MQTT Regions

IOTMER MQTT infrastructure runs in multiple geographic regions. Connecting devices to the nearest region reduces latency and improves reliability.

List available regions

GET /regions

Returns all active IOTMER regions with their codes, names, and available MQTT services.

Activate a region in your workspace

See Workspace Regions.

Endpoint format

Each region has a dedicated hostname:

mqtt-<region-code>.iotmer.cloud:8883

Your workspace's primary MQTT domain is shown in MQTT → Connection Info.

Custom MQTT domain

You can use your own domain (e.g. mqtt.yourcompany.com) for MQTT connections. See Custom Domains.
